The disgraced former president agrees to give his first television interview to David Frost since resigning the presidency. Nixon wants to redeem his career. Frost wants to put him on trial.
A tense dramatization of a series of interviews Richard Nixon gave to David Frost two years after the Watergate scandal brought down his presidency. Nixon wants the interviews to be the start of his political comeback. Frost wants them to be a trial for the man who put the nation through the trauma of Vietnam and Watergate as well as a revival for his own flagging career. The result was a gripping prize fight between two ambitious men that would seal the president's legacy.
