Bad Blood and Rainbows explores the meaning of family, blood, and the love and hate in between.
It's 1969, the year of the Apollo 11 moon walk, Woodstock, and the summer of love, but Myra's adoptive father is dying of cancer and frequently trying to commit suicide. Her hippie half-brother, Evan, tries to reinsert himself into her life for dubious purposes. After being tricked into meeting her natural mother, Myra finds out some truth about her history.
