All are welcome to audition for GEDS' first production of the 2018-2019 season. Performance dates are October 2-6, 2018 at Théâtre Espérance in Eaux-Vives.

On the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s celebrated novel, the Geneva English Drama Society is proud to present Frankenstein. This production returns the story to its original Geneva roots and the terrifying confrontation between a man obsessed with his own quest for knowledge, and his creation, who did not ask to be created.
The director is looking for people of all demographic backgrounds who are interested in the story and looking for an ensemble acting experience to audition. He is not looking for any particular physical type, nationality or even necessarily gender. The goal is to assemble a troupe of artistic, creative and collaborative souls who have that unique subjective alchemy of contrasting against and harmonizing with each other.
GEDS encourages everyone to audition for its shows at all levels of experience. Our directors are looking for people who bring their own unique life experiences to the role. Mother tongue and nationality need not prevent you being cast; even age or gender can sometimes be flexible according to the needs of the play. GEDS serves a diverse international community and we aspire to reflect that richness in our activities and events.
